Pools @ BCV's Closing time?

I hear that the SAB pool closes very early. Is this true?

It can depending on the time of year.I have seen it close as early as 8p and no later than 10p,

Unfortunately that is true. It was a huge disappointement to us during our stay at the Beach Club. We like to swim at night after a long day in the parks, but you can't do that. Who wants to swim in the plain ol quiet pool when you have that huge area with a water slide right there?

I understand the reasons behind it closing early--it is more of a water park than a pool, and once the lifeguards leave they have to shut the pool down, but it is still a big bummer.

Last week it closed at 8:00pm. In October it closed at 10:00pm.

Let me just saw that the closing time last week seemed appropriate for the time of the year. It got pretty cold at night and while there were a few people in the pools, I wouldn't be paying lifeguards to sit there and watch basically no one.

That being said, the quiet pools stay "open" until midnight. While its not the same as the big pool, its still a nice break at the end of the day. My DD7 is happy to swim at the end of the night, even if its "just" the quiet pool.
