Can you rent pool toys at the DVC resorts (i.e. flotation equipment, lifevest, noodles)?

The Community Halls have these items available for checkout, free with room card and they tell you if you do not return it, you will be charged.

I believe all the pools have swim vests available for free, but at BCV, if you want a float, it is a daily rental.

I saw Noodles, and Swim vests being checked out from Horsin Around Rentals at SSR last trip.

In addition to the always available life jackets, Stormalong Bay has two sizes of inner tubes that can be rented by the hour or by the day.

We brought noodles into that pool during our August 2005 BWV stay. CMs didn't say boo about it, so those appear to be O.K. I don't know about inflatables like tubes or floats (have never seen them in that pool during four different stays at the resort).

We just got back from SSR and we used inflatables round floats and dive rings in the pools there with no problems.

Thanks!!! That is good to know you can bring your own toys. DD (2) likes her small inflatable ring that helps her swim and I also have a ring with a seat that I use for DS (1) It helps a bit when I am swimming with both kids by myself since they are both so young and can't swim yet.

We always take a couple of floats for the lazy river at SAB.

Last trip at SSR, a nice lady gave us her noodles because they were checking out that day.

We passed them on to another family as we were checking out

We had exactly the same thing happen with boogie boards at DVC Vero Beach last week!! A nice guy gave us two on our second day because he was checking out, and we passed them onto another family on our last day.
