We're staying at BLT in 11 days. :cool1: Do they have pool towels there? If so, are we allowed to wrap up in one on the way back to the room, or do they have to stay at the pool? Of course, we would bring them back on the next trip out of the room, but I just could see wet kids wanting to stay wrapped up on the way back.

Thanks!

All the resorts have pool towels and they are all supposed to stay by the pool. People always take them back to the rooms.

We always dry off at the pool and then put DD in a terry or cotton hooded cover-up for the walk back to the room. Dh and I usually put shorts & a t-shirt on over our suits after we dry off too.

FYI - the quicker you dry off, the warmer you'll be. Walking back to the room while dripping wet will make you colder.

We'll wrap up in a towel and return it when we head out right afterwards. We don't grab a stack of towels and use them in the room. That's the difference. You use the pool towel at the pool, stay wrapped up to keep warm or keep from dripping all over everything and return the pool towel as you head out again.

Thanks, guys. I knew all the deluxe resorts have pool towels and there the CR pool would have them, but didn't know about the DVC resorts. (Unless something has changed, at least some of the moderates do not have towels.)

Thanks again!

If you go to VB and HHI, you'll have a set number of pool towels in your villa and have to make sure you turn that many in when you leave. Very much like the standard timeshare.
