Pool hours at AKL?

Can anyone tell me what the pool hours are at AKL? I've heard it's open 24 hours, but also heard reports of it being closed fairly early in the evening (maybe it's different seasonally?) ... Thanks in advance!

I know the hot tubs are open 24 hours, but I can't remember about the pool. I am taking a guess here, but I think the pool may be open all night too. I'm sure the official time will say midnight or 10pm, but they never really kick anyone out, unless theyre making too much noise. I'm sure the slide gets roped off after dark though. The only pool that I KNOW closes at dark is SAB!!

we were there in september and were swimming at midnight on our last night (along with a couple of 3 year olds? where do they get their energy)

I think the lifegaurds leave at 10

When we were there it was open 24hrs just no lifeguards after 10pm. Slide closes at same time lifeguard leaves.

When we were there in April peak season. They closed the pool between 6-8 everynight and the hot tubs at like 10 or 11 and they did enforce the closing times! We were really disappointed by this.

Deb's website states the pool is open 24 hrs, lifegards leave at 10 pm, slide closes. I think it states the hottubs close also ? around midnight? ....memory failing me. Maybe they are thinking that hot water and late night drinking may not be a good mix!?

We just returned from the AKL and the pool was open and quite a lot of people were in it when we would get back from the parks after 10. The slide does close and is roped off as soon as the lifeguards leave, which I believe was around 9:30. Also, the pool bar closes as well. Once back to our room, which was a pool view room, we would still see people in the pool long after we left it around 11. The only time we saw them close the pool and not allow anyone in was when there was lightning in the area. Then everyone had to get out and stay out until they deemed it safe to go back.

We just got back and DH took DD7 down there a couple nights after midnight. They used the hot tub one night too after midnight. I think the sign said no life guard after 10 pm.
