Would you recommend pool heat in May at a rental house? My friend is renting and the owner wants to know if she wants it. She's going in the middle of May. I don't know if she will or not. It's an extra ~$120 or $150 (I'm not exactly sure).

She has two kids if that makes a difference. I live in GA and May is pretty nice, not hot, but I don't know about FL.

We're staying in a townhome at Windsor Hills from May 20-28 and I'm wondering if I shouldn't pay for heat for our splash pool. It sure would be nice to take a dip in the morning IF the water is not icy cold. I'm not the jump in and get used to it kind of gal. :lmao: So, please, anyone---should we get the pool heat or will it be way too hot to make that necessary????

We were there in early May last year, when the temps were in the low 90's most days, yet we still paid for heat for the townhouse splash pool. It was great to be able to jump right in early in the morning and after a day at the parks. Our pool was west-facing, so it didn't really get a lot of sun until later in the day. If you have a south-facing pool that gets sun most of the day you might not need pool heat at that time of year. I prefer a really warm pool, so I would probably get pool heat any time of year.
