Pool Cabanas @ HRH

What can you tell me about the pool cabanas at HRH?

Is it necessary to book in advance, or will we maybe have a chance of getting one on a spur of the moment?

How many are there?

What is included in the cabana to drink?

And any other facts to pass along?

Does the cost change seasonally? Is it charged by the day or hour?

I have never noticed the ones at the HRH being all sold out. We rented one at PBH for $50.00 for the day, it came with a bowl of fruit, noodles, floats, and about 6 sodas & Waters. They have a TV, fridge and they set out your towels for you. They are supposed to come & check up on you to see if you need anything. We didn't see our "Cabana Boy" all day so when we complained about it they comped our cabana & gave it to us the next day for free, but let me tell you they gave us five star service the second day!! It was really nice to have when spending the entire day at the pool.

Hi hockeymom,

We just got back and it was VERY hot...all cabanas were sold out during our stay. WE booked 2- 1/2 days and loved it! It was $30 for a 3P-10P stay. WE had dinner from the beach club served in cabana and bar service as well. A frig with water and soda's a bowl of fruit and all the pool goodies as well. They set aside 2 lounge chairs and towels in front of your cabana as well. I believe there were 8-10 total. 4 face the beach area and are GREAT locations for families. You call the fitness center on arrival to reserve. If you are going at a busy time reserve asap. Enjoy! OH this was at Hard Rock. Portofino was much quieter.

Thanks for all of the info. If we stay good within our budget, I would LOVE to reserve a cabana for our last day to relax and hang out. What a luxury and my kids (ages 17,14,&9) would think it way cool!

Yes, at the Villa pool. We wanted to order lunch the first day & that's what our complaint was that no one came around. So we sent the DH's to get us pizza & drinks. The next day they came around & we ordered lunch through the server. It's a really nice menu, lot's of good sandwiches.
