Hi all, can I please hear your opinions of the pool area at Buena Vista Suites? From the pictures I've seen it seems nice enough, but other posts seem neutral to negative about it.

Some people have mentioned that its hard to get to - can anyone elaborate?

How about size and depth, can anyone offer any details?

Lastly - how about water temp? Is it kept comfortable? We'll be travelling in April.

Thanks everyone for any details you can offer!

Hi:
We stay at BV Suites for one day every year before we check into our timeshare. We liked the pool but it doesn't compare to a resort pool. It is on the small to medium size but there is a detached hot tub and an outdoor bathroom located near the hot tub which is extremely convenient when you have little kids. The pool temperature in April last year was bath water. There are also towels for use at the outdoor gate.

BV Suites is on a main road but the pool is shielded by fencing and trees (or so I remember). It did not feel like you were on a main road at all! It was very relaxing.

To get to the pool you walk through the main lobby and head towards the restaurant. Before you get to the restaurant there is an exit door which takes you outside. There is then a gate which takes you into the pool area. There is also a door to enter the pool area at the back of the restaurant also near the bathroom. We've been known to use this door to use the outdoor bathroom when the indoor one is occupied (anyone with a 2 year old knows when it's time to use the potty, you find a potty, LOL).

We found the pool area to be clean. Overall, BVS is a nice hotel with a decent pool and breakfast for the price. I hear their sister resort next door has a better pool.

Michelle,

Thanks so much for such a thorough review! That answers all of my questions. It sounds like it will be just fine for us to take a dip during breaks in the afternoon.

We can't wait to get there!
