Pool and cool weather

We did a December trip in 2010 and it was freezing. One morning it was 37 degrees -- I said never again. It changed the whole dynamic of the trip. One March (I think 2011) we went around March 6th and it was warm but not hot. I would have liked it a wee bit warmer for swimming, but it wasn't horrible. My favorite time is late March/April - much warmer. This year we go on March 19, so we may get some cool mornings, but it should be nice and warm for swimming in the afternoon.

Glad it worked out "ok" for you. I also would've spent a lot of time at DTD or Epcot. We went once in Jan. over MLK weekend - it was cool (40's/50's) but considering it was near ZERO at home when we left it was nice! We stayed at VWL that trip and I think it did hit low 60's briefly one afternoon so we attempted to go to the pool...ended up in the hot tub the whole time and froze to death trying to get back inside afterward. Since it was so cold at home we went with our ski coats which had zip-out linings and hoods - which we needed when it got windy. We have gone in late March over spring break 2x now. The first time it was cool (60's/low 70's during the day) all week and then last year it was near record highs I think (85-90 every day). After that January trip I refuse to go to the pool if it's under 75 out!! The pools aren't heated THAT much!:rotfl:
