Ponchos at Big Lots...

I saw some cute themed ponchos at Big Lots I really wanted to get the ladybug one for my daughter who will be 3 by the time we go to Disney for her first trip and many for DH and I but never together. It will be our first trip as a family.

I think they were under $3 I will have to go back and get it before they are gone. I just wonder if it will still be good by then. I'd keep in its wrapping its just plastic it should right?

I bought poncho's in January for our April trip- never used them on our trip.

Just a couple of days ago at a soccer game, I remembered I had them in one of the storage compartments of my Envoy- pulled out an adult one- still wrapped in plastic- was fine. That was 10 months old...should be fine

We'll be bringing back whatever we have left in november '05!...

I bought all of mine at the Dollar Tree...child and adult

Ponchos will last forever in their wrappings as long as you don't expose them to extreme heat or cold.
We get ours at dollar tree--2 for $1--and make sure they are NOT yellow so we can find each other in the sea of mickey yellow ponchos at the parks.

We always carry a pack or 2 in the van for football games, etc.

For washing, I put them in on gentlest cycle and hang to drip dry. Don't think I was the $1 ponchos--just the ones we get stuck paying $$ for and are a bit heavy duty.
