Poncho Up, Chicas! DISmoms 5, May 2-6, 2013 Updates Galore 12/9

It is nice to have a glass of wine, I agree- but the fries?? If I really think about it, they were not as truffle-y the second time I had them as the first. And the first time, the server did say that alot of people were afraid to try them, so maybe they dummied them down for the masses? Or they ran out of truffle salt? What ever the reason is, IT STINKS!!!

Agreed! It was one of the things I was really interesting in trying too, so pretty disappointing.

Also, I guess lots of people were having difficulty eating the cupcakes since our server specifically suggested leaving them on the plate, in the wrapper and using a spoon to dig in.

So to bring us back to AK there were some DisMoms gone wild



After Dinosaur we went on Dino-Rama


Where we met this lil girl that was missing her group (shouldn't say lil she was a teenager!) but she had the cutest tshirt


Laura and Lonnie sat this one out


But look ma no hands


We decided it was time to head back to AKL for some pool time, so off to the parking tram we went another "BEST RIDE EVER!"


Parked next to Lonnies car was "THAT" car.. you know the one


Looks like they partied hard the night before LOL

Once back at AKL we did what us moms do best, no not drink.. SHOP lol. I found one of El's friends but doesn't look like she wanted to kiss this one


Laura was sad she missed the rain so she had to hear it a few dozen times


after we had some Concierge snacks and were done being attached by hawks by the pool, we got all purdied up to head to MK for dinner

aren't they just the cutest


I chatted up with the photopass photographer and his name badge said he was from the next city over from mine so it really was "A Small World, After All"


someone took a selfie


then got photobombed (you can see El and Lonnie in the background waiting for us cuz we took multiple pics you know you have to get just the right amount of arm in a selfie lol)


after we checked into BOG some got to hold the power!!!


Dinner was yummy and after we made the round of the new fantasy land... did la lil peaking here and there


got on dumbo and off dumbo before the other one that was still stuck in the air.

Played some games.. I believe they were cadets and heros too but who ever these people were behind us were the real winners before the dance party started we got a group shot Then we were all about shaking our groove thangs (click to play) Still couldn't get Lonnie in on it though (click to play Then it turned romantical as my friend Elfis and Barb watched the fireworks Before leaving we had to get a signature Castle shot what you didn't think it was of us Dismoms did you LOL (again, don't judge me LOL) So we parted ways with El and Lon and they went back to AKL, while Laura and I headed to check out the crazies dressed in Star Wars gear at Hollywood... who knew that the crazies called it an early night? well except for the 2 of us.. we were going strong. I really think we should get a medal because it took us a boat, a bus and a 5k later (our own mini triathlon sort of LOL) to get to Hollywood just in time to see this then be told we were 12 hour too late after running to get some merchandise So we ran around the park taking pics This was after I text El asking if she wanted a yummy mac and cheese with bacon and truffle oil hot dog.. but they were out Had to get the commemorative hat pic Then to close out the night and shut down the park... this played. (click to hear) 3 parks in 1 day we were so proud if ourselves lol

Total star wars freako here! I would have been there as well looking for some May the 4th be with you goodies!

DS is wearing an R2D2/C3PO shirt as we speak!

I can only imagine how hard it must have been to get into Jedi training that day!

Ellen, to go back a few posts ago, remember the Disney pants? I found them at Hot Topix, they sell quite a few styles & they are leggings. Get some for cold weather! LOL!

My son worked at Hot Topic one year for Christmas season. I am laughing that you are shopping there Doris. That place has some unusual stuff. Definitely not what you would wear to a reinactment.

I don't shop there, just decided to see if I could find the leggings. Googled it & voila, Hot Topix had them! Some are kind of cute, would look good with the right long top & ballet flats.
