PolynesianBride'sPJ 12/6/10 Sunset Pointe- TEASER PICS UP!

YEAH FOR GETTING YOUR DATE!!!

Now...about that trip report...popcorn::
Thanks! The unfinished trip report???:scared: I was bored with it so I'm sure you all were too:laughing: It's only missing one day so I can finish it if you really want. I've discovered I'm not much of a writer but I promise I will do one for the wedding! I'm still considering one for the last trip since I would like to share my resort and dining experiences but will probably do it over in the regular TR area so I don't clutter up my PJ anymore.

Yay Congrats! Since we will be there during that time, I will stalk your wedding!
We can stalk each other's wedding's! It will be so fun!!!!

Congrats for getting your date!!! I totally agree with you on the Colombia Harbor House being the best counter service looking at your picture made me hungry.
Thanks! YAY- glad you're on my side with Colombia Harbor, unfortunately DF didn't let me eat there this time:sad1:.

Congrats for getting your date.....:goodvibes:cool1:
Thanks!:goodvibes

YAY!!! Congrats on getting your date Adelia! :) P.S. I am so totally jealous of all your recent Disney trips!
Thanks! I have been quite the lucky girl with my recent Disney trips!

Congrats on getting your date!! I'm so happy for you.
Thanks:goodvibes

Congrats on getting your date!:banana::banana::banana:
Thanks- I'm soooo banana dancing over here!:banana::banana:

Yeahy congratulations on getting your date! We find out tomorrow soooo excited!!!

So I have been a major slacker so I will try to quickly post all my updates including wedding pertinent information from my last trip. First off right before we left I FINALLY got our newsletters printed and sent out! Here they are:

Not sure if you can read the writing or not but honestly some of it is a bit cheesy in my opinion but our main audience is our mom's, aunt's, and grandma's and they of course are raving about them:lmao: It really has had positive feedback especially from DF's mom who I think was fielding the majority of questions from their side:thumbsup2

I got metallic green envelopes from www.paperandmore.com and wrote the addresses on them in silver. They looked really great but unfortunately I didn't remember to take pics as I rushed them to the post office on our way out of town. I would DEFINATELY recommend Paper and More to anyone looking for supplies for invites. They were excellent quality and you can order single sheets to see if you like the color, etc. The single sheet sample worked perfect for me since I need so few invites and I don't want to buy a whole package of paper.

I am now working on Save-the-Dates to send out confirming the date with everyone. Then I need to get busy and get another newsletter together to try to organize everyone's dining reservations since I should be able to book that on May 28!

So this is long overdue! My hour glass has been here for awhile but I forgot to post it. I am really happy with the result. I got it from www.heirloomhourglass.com and mine is the Aloha. It is "tropical brown granite" bases and cherry pillars. I loved the idea of a sand ceremony but had no idea what I would do with a jar of sand so I liked the idea of the hourglass. Sorry- not sure why it keeps coming up side-ways but you get the idea

The are quite pricey IMO, ranging from about $100-$700. Mine was a middle of the road one. They have some that look more "wedding-ish" (white etc) and these would probably look nicer at the ceremony but I wanted something that would be more neutral to blend in with the decor of my home. You can get different closures to put on the ends- sticking with our theme we chose sea-shells forming a heart and palm trees.

I believe most people use colored sand but once again I wanted to stay color neutral so we are using natural sand. Each of us is bringing sand from our favorite childhood vacation spot (it comes with a sand collection kit). The sand will be held in the shells that I posted earlier and will be carried up by our moms!

:woohoo:YAY for getting your date!!! :woohoo:
And for getting the MK/Epcot shoot!! :woohoo:
I wouldn't stress yourself with making a silk bouquet b/c that's why you pay the $75 refresh fee. Disney will replace any and all the flowers that need it (even after 3 days).

Bummer about the shoes, but don't worry you will find another pair and won't have to go barefoot. (Unless you want to that is....;)) And I still can't believe you don't have that swatch....:confused3

Your newsletter looks great and that hourglass is beautiful! I kept trying to picture it and it is even better than I anticipated!! I am glad you both are happy with it! Have you and Ryan decided on where your sand is coming from yet??

Hope you had a great trip down last week! You guys seem to luck out with the bumps/vouchers! Free flights for another trip to use those AP's!!! :goodvibes

Thanks! Yeah it helps to have a flexible schedule when you fly:woohoo: Now we have to decide what to do with our free flights! Gee it's a rough life:lmao:

:banana:YEAH on getting your date :cool1:

Love the shoes.
Thanks:goodvibes

OK Ladies! I started my first official TR over on the main boards. Here's the link if anyone wants to follow along:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=36227726&posted=1#post36227726

I will try to post the wedding related stuff over here but I didn't want to clutter up my PJ anymore with partially completed TR's:lmao: So far I have put up a pretty detailed review of All-Star Movies, to sum it up for you guys I would pick POP for your room-blocks over any of the All-Stars!

great job on the newsletter! I really like the hourglass too. What a unique way to do a sand ceremony! Eww, just read your review of All Stars, how could they put a sheet on the bed that doesn't cover the bed? :confused3 Luckily we picked Pop for the room block. ;)

Congrats on getting your date! Must be so exciting to have it set in stone now! I am loving reading all of your plans!

Haha! Glad I'm not the only one who found it totally gross! Your guests will love POP- we have stayed there twice now and had wonderful times both times.

Congrats on getting your date! Must be so exciting to have it set in stone now! I am loving reading all of your plans!

Thanks Marissa! It does feel good to finally be able to say "We will be getting married on December 6!" Rather than... "well we're hoping for Dec 6":lmao: I'm enjoying following your plans as well!

So on Monday of our trip I had a hair and make-up trial with Patricia LeJeune. She was wonderful and I absolutely adored her! She arrived right on time with all her cases and got right to work! She said she didn't "prep" my hair all the way and that on the day of it would be more detailed and textured. I asked for something loose and romantic, nothing too dramatic and I love what she came up with. I also loved the airbrush make-up she used it felt super light, I could barely even tell it was on but my skin looked so smooth. The fake eyelashes were awesome too... I was hesitant to try these bc I was worried they wouldn't be comfortable but they didn't bug me at all. She uses individual lashes instead of strips and she actually used lashes a little shorter than my own (mine are really long to start with) but just made mine look thicker! We just took pics in the room and the lighting wasn't the best but you'll get the idea. I look a little shiny in the pics but that's from the crazy ridiculous flash on my camera... I'm sure Misty's camera is better:rotfl:. I didn't look oily or shiny at all in person- promise:thumbsup2

Ok, really hideous before pic with NO make-up. I'm slightly horrified to post this in public but thought you should see the before and after:

And here is the final product:

I guess I also don't like the gap by my bangs either, I will make sure that is fixed on the day of.

I originally had planned to take it all off before DF saw me but after she worked so hard making me gorgeous I hated to take it down. Plus I don't think I could have done anything else with my hair unless I would have washed the can of hairspray out:lmao: So I called DF to come back (he was hanging by the pool) and we headed to our dinner at LeCellier (yum!).

The best part about the hair is that it STAYED. It was super windy that night and it survived the evening in Epcot AND me sleeping on it. Here is what it looked like at 5:30 the next am when I woke up (EMH at MK started at 7:00:eek:). I'm also somewhat horrified to post what I look like when I wake up but thought you should see.
