But it's beautiful, and my family stayed there every year when I was growing up (I've probably spent 80 nights of my life there). The rooms are pretty newly redone, in the last couple of years - just as the WL and CR have been.
...i hope...
over......

We're going to the Poly in June too, first time in the park in 20 years. Kids have never been. I'm so excited!!!! We requested Tahiti. We have reserved a garden room, but I'd love to be upgraded to a MK view! (It's my dream!!!!)
Anyway, I have two questions for Poly experts.
1) Does the launch go straight to the MK or stop at TTC?
2) How often do people get their longhouse request?
Doing the hula as I type...
I can feel the joy and anticipation eminating from your post. You are going to have such a great time. The Poly is a wonderful resort. I remember how exited I was my first stay there. It was everything I expected it to be. In August I will be returing for my 3rd time and am just as exited as the first time. You won't be disappointed. Take time to walk the grounds late at night. The tiki tourches are really cool. I get such a kick out of watching one light up automatically if the wind blows it out. This resort has lots of Disney magic. See EWP from the beach. Walk out onto the dock and take lots of pictures of GF. The view is awsome, especially at night. Rent a Sea Racer and take your camera. When you are out on the Seven Seas Lagoon in one, and look around, it is like looking at a post card! Eat at every restraunt there. Grab a drink at the Timbuktu Lounge. Most of all, enjoy every minute you get to spend there. The memories will last a lifetime!
Thanks for all the great tips. The kids don't know that we're staying there. We're going to try and let it be a major surprise.Tikiman's website is the best! I've done some research and requested nonsmoking, Samoa, 3rd Floor. I think this would suit our needs better.
What's your fave longhouse?
