We did Animator's Academy for the very first time this trip, and ended up drawing my DW's favorite character, Eeyore. It was so fun that we have moved it to our "must-dos" (little shudder as I think of hearing Stacey's voice say this a billion times).

In the shop afterward, the artist who created the latest Hoop Dee Doo Revue pin was signing it. Since the HDDR is already a staple of our trips, it was like a double-dose of magic for our family.

And yes, there seemed to be, in the words of my DD, "a brazillion Brazilians" in WDW that whole week.

Aww...we drew Pluto. He was surprisingly hard to draw--the ears especially.

Writer's Stop is great, isn't it? I had heard about it and heard about it, but had never been in there. I was pleased at the selection of books and music. I even picked up the Fantasmic! soundtrack in there--it has both the WDW version AND the Disneyland version!

We've never done the Animation Academy, will have to add that to our 'next trip' list of firsts!

We love Sci-Fi for lunch, the kids get a kick out of the cars and tacky movies.

That surprised Mickey/Minnie looks like it was coming along nicely. We drew Pooh last year and I was impressed with my drawing. I can not draw at all, but they really make it easy.

Arrrrghhhhh to the tour groups. I have never been there in July, so thankfully I have only seen them in pictures!

ooo the Cars merchandise cart looks like it has a great selection! Next month we'll be sure to stop there, my bf's cousin loves that movie!

We love Animation Academy. After reading about it on the Dis, it's a must-do now. Last trip we drew Eeyore.

I love Muppet Vision and all of the little details and the key under the mat and so on. I never noticed the eyes though! I guess it's one of those attractions that you notice something new every time like Haunted Mansion.

I can't believe I've never done the Animation class! Probably because I can barely draw a smiley face to save my life LOL but I definitely have to try it on our next trip.

I am obsessed with Sci-Fi. It's one of my favorite things ever, seriously, and I can't wait to read your next update =)

The pretzel rods and chocolate-coated marshmallows at Sweet Spells? YUM! They made great poolside snacks.

But I must say, the best dessert/snack of the trip was the Zebra Domes!

Sci-Fi is one of our favorite places to eat. Were their milkshakes still the same when they went? I've been hearing they've changed to become more like ice cream or something.

LOVED the Sci/Fi Dine-In! I was laughing at all the corny/cheesy clips on the screen. I even had the whole front seat to myself! The waiter made jokes about me being the driver, haha.

Side note: I had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe today with my mom. It reminded me of the one in WDW, but much smaller.
