Polynesian Summer

Two great updates, as usual. How funny, I totally had the same thought when you pointed out that fabulous armchair/chaise lounge in front of the window. I thought to myself, how Austen-esque.

Where did you get that cute little mini Cinderella? I would love to put that in DD's stocking to bring to our trip in Feb. I have to say that reading your updates on how hot it was in the summer makes me feel a tad better about deciding to tour the world in Feb (even if it may be cold).

Gosh, that line to LWTL looks long! When we were there, there was literally no one in line. At all. If another group hadn't come in behind us, we would've had a whole boat to ourselves!

love Darts England shirt :thumbsup2

I adore Epcot, I agree with you about the music, it's some of my favourite music on property!! You put me entirely to shame with the Mission Space race, I am so so bad at that game. Looks like I'll just have to practice!!

I LOLed at your server's comment, "extreme air conditioning!" :lmao: I'm sorry you had such bad service. I think it's hit or miss there, our waiter was very sweet when we were there.

Ahhh yes, I love sitting on the beach at the Boardwalk. It's so relaxing and a good way to get tan :thumbsup2

I have an ADR for Chefs de France and after hearing all of the negative comments from so many people....it has me a little scared! :scared1: But it is a place I have always wanted to try! I wonder if just chalking up rudeness as part of the experience would make it any more pleasant?! :rotfl:

The poor bird! I hope they were able to get the fishing line off eventually! And those little desserts look just divine!!

Wow, sorry to hear about the rude servic at Chefs. We have had nice servers when we went, and I do have to agree that it's usually pretty busy (we normally go for dinner though). At least you finally got to see Remy and it sounds like that interaction at least wasn't bad. I would have been giggling on the side the whole time.

Something about Mickey shaped sprinkles on cupcakes just makes me so happy. :cloud9:

Cindy looks right at home in France! I really need to go see what I can find for DD now. So cute!

I'm glad you got to see Remy. Maybe seeing him made up for the bad service.
Those desserts are so cute. And, I love the spot you chose to relax with the palm trees above.

ooh Remy is so exciting! Sorry the service sucked though, I agree, very French!! The Yacht just looks so pretty... question though, which is your favourite Poly or the Yacht?!!

Sounds like a lovely day! What a shame about the service in Chefs de France though. :)

I don't know which report....but I love your descriptions of the poly....the beach, the palm trees, the hammocks.....it always seems so peaceful and tranquil.

Honestly, unless you are applying at Disney, I'm not sure I'd go with a trip report update. I'd be more inclined to go with a class paper.

I think I read your third TR first, and I remember really liking the way you described the things you saw and what you thought and felt in such a different way. Almost like a Jane Austen novel. That report stands out in my mind the most. I can't remember any one incident....just that whole TR.

BTW, I am really enjoying this trip report as well. :)
