We are looking for a good, non-smoking, garden view room. We are not sure what buildings are smoking and concierge, as we could not use them. Can anyone help and tell me what are the smoking and concierge buildings? Also, does anyone have recommendations for a specific garden view building and or garden view room?

We are wondering what the best rooms/buildings are
that are closest to the pool, snack bar and monorail?

We had Samoa garden view last summer and loved it. Very close to GCH and both pools. Samoa Longhouse is non-smoking. Checkout Tikiman's site. Lots of good Poly info there.

I found Tokelau to be conveniently located. Right next to quiet pool and not far from the TTC or the GCH. It is non smoking and has garden views. Very quiet.

Tokelau is a great location. Close to the beach, the quiet pool, not far (3-4 mnutes) from the GCH. We had a garden patio room all the way on the end of the building that we could see the water and GF. Great view.

Just back this week from the Polynesian. We had a room in the
Aotearoa Longhouse on the third floor facing the Grand Floridian.
This location was awesome. Quiet and just around the corner from the volcano pool and the GCH. Also you got to walk by the marina everyday on the way to the pool. Luau Cove is on this side of the resort so you get to hear the luau in the evening which was nice and relaxing. The rooms were nice and clean and no musty smell like some people have noted of other buildings. I would love to stay here again.

Our last room was samoa 1602, garden view room, volcano pool view, ground floor. Excelllent location for our 3 ds, everything you are looking for is a hop,skip and jump away. Perfect location.

I'm staying at the Polynesian in December and I am going to request a room in Fiji (overlooking the marina), Samoa (overlooking the volcano pool) or my 3rd choice is Tokelau (overlooking the quiet pool) . -Steph

We stayed in the Tokelau bldg 3 and 4 years ago. This is a wonderful location. Quiet and close to all. This is a garden view non smoking bldg.....We are staying in the Hawaii bldg ground floor, garden view this year. But the upper floor is smoking..Yuck I hope we do not smell anything. This is a concierge bldg.

For three years I stayed in RaroTonga. On one side of the building is the Great Ceremonial HOuse ( which ahas all of the resturants, shopping and the mon rail) On the other side of the building is the bus stops, Never land club and Laundry rooms. Super convienient!!! Very close to pool. If you have young children this is so close to all transportation and sncking etc.

Smoking rooms are on the 3rd floor of Tuvalu, the east end of the 2nd floor of Tahiti, Half the upper floor of Hawaii (concierge) and all of Niue. All the remaining rooms and longhouses are non-smoking. This does not include the suites in Tonga.
