I reserved 4 nights beginning 15 August through CRO. When should I receive planning info in the mail? I am very excited and anxious to shar this visit with my kids and my husband (his first EVER visit to WDW).

Thanks in advance.

We were at the Polynesian May 12 - 19th lagoon view at the concierge level (2505) and we never received a contact sheet. When we stayed at the Yacht Club concierge we received one a month or so in advance.

Enjoy yourself!

We were at the Poly May 11 - 18 Lagoon View Concierge (3rd Floor) and received our package about six weeks to a month before we were to arrive. I will strongly recommend that if you have any requests (floor, particular room, etc.) get this back to them as fast as possible. We had requested either first or third floor and they gave us second floor (no balcony or patio) for the first night. They said they did not have a room available on first or third. Everything was already booked, so get that request in early.

We are staying at Poly Concierge in August as well. I didn't receive anything in the mail either, but called the office at (407) 824-2466, option #3. They have been extremely helpful and successful in getting the bookings and seatings we want. I wouldn't hesitate to call them and leave a message if necessary. They have been very prompt in calling back as well. I have spoken with three different people there, Melissa with the most frequency. The e-mail address given above works as well, but if you are like me, a real live voice can't be beat.

As a side note on this, there is just something terrific in hearing a voice say "Aloha", either when you call or when they call you back! Good luck!

After reading these posts, Do I make my own PS or have concierge take care of them?

The concierge staff helped us a with a few while we were there but we usually handle most of them ourselves ahead of time. They will do them all for you if you desire.

I would highly recommend using them for "hard" bookings, like Cinderella's Castle Character meals, Illuminations cruises, etc. They will tell you that they can't guarantee that they will get the booking for you, but that they have good luck. We used them in the past and have used them this year and have snagged a few hard to get things so far. If you are leery about missing out on something, you can have them try for those bookings while you try on your own as well, knowing that you can cancel one later.

As to other PS, it's up to you. We gave them a list of what we were interested in, and they went to town. It was nice in that we didn't have to worry about anything with it. I guess I would look at it this way - it's part of the service you are paying extra for!

Good luck and have a great time in the planning.

Hmmm...I arrive 8/21 and got mine going on three weeks ago.

I'm not all too happy so far with the concierge service there. They never got back to me to confirm, and never called to schedule spa appointments, even though I had checked the box requesting they do so. I emailed them, it took over 24 hours before they responded.

Conversely the YC sent their form for my 8/31 arrival, I filled it out and faxed it back. Two hours later Andy called us to tell us they had gotten it and made the PS's, and asked if there was anything else we needed :) Now THAT is great service!!!

At any rate, I'd give them a holler if I were you.
