A quick question for the OP (or anyone else just back)
How bad are the mosquitos around the Poly or WDW in general right now? Our one son swells up like a balloon if he gets bitten!

There were no mosquitos at the Polynesian (and mosquitos love me!). In 20 years of going to the Polynesian the only bug I've seen has been 1 small spider. This trip we saw alot of bunnies hopping around the property along with the famous ducks that wander the grounds.

I just got back as well and am a mosquito magnet. Nothing at the Poly, but I got chomped at Typhoon Lagoon when we stayed for EMH night. If you go to this use bug spray!

Is there a cd player in the room (i.e. alarm clock)?

We are staying there for the first time EVER in 3 weeks!! We have never even had a meal at Poly or walked the grounds!

The alarm clock in our room did not have a CD player, but I know my son hooked his PSP up to it. I imagine you could also hook up an I Pod using the same connection.

We only used the alarm clock to wake us from our afternoon naps because the wake up calls are so much fun!

Thanks! I was hoping there was a CD player so I could bring my disney CD to listen to at night I can't wait to experience the Poly!
