Poly (what to call it? PVRV?) open April 1

Release point charts and price to make informed decision!:confused3

Hoping that having a lot of studios will take some demand away from booking studios at VGF!

Poly pool looks nice!:thumbsup2:)

Will the Bungalows AND Poly Studios open on April 4th? And where are the new Poly Studios located? Were they existing rooms that were transformed or is there a new building? Are there any pictures of the location of Studios yet?
According to http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/bl...soon-for-disneys-polynesian-villas-bungalows/:
"scheduled for April 1, the resort will introduce unique Disney accommodations, including Bora Bora Bungalows and the first connecting Deluxe Studios."

All the details of construction, including the conversion of existing buildings:

My guide informed me that he has all the info on points/cost but can't reveal until Monday. And yes, some of the studios will be available for stays beginning on 4/1.

We're really torn. Both our DVCs are paid off so it's tempting, especially with a CM discount. On the other hand, it seems crazy to spend another $20k and rent out our SSR points every year paying maintenance on both.

Why don't you sell your SSR points if you won't be needing them? That'll free up cash for your purchase and take the dues burden from that contract off your plate.

Remember it is not what is open, it is what is declared for sale. They can all be open but if DVC only declares 25%, then 3/4 are Disneys for cash reservations.

If they follow along the lines of VGF, I would expect about 50% to be declared to start.

Based on what was filed yesterday with Orange County Comptroller, it appears that about 43.8% of PVB has been declared for the DVC inventory. This is an educated guess on my part based on some assumptions about PVB's total points. I'll have a much better estimate once the point chart is released and the first PVB deeds start appearing on the OCC website. By the way, there is an article on DVCNews about PVB's declaration.

Interesting! Since we bought Aulani with a CM discount, I just thought there always was one. This news certainly helps make our decision easier. Thanks!
