Poly room ? on split reservation

We have two reservations for the Polynesian in August. One day at the AAA rate and three nights with the FD package. I would have done all 4 nights for at the FD rate, but the promo doesn't start until the second day we are there and we can't change the dates. Anyway: when my TA made the reservation, he said that he requested that we have the same room for the whole stay but WDW says its not a guarentee. How likely would it be that they would make us switch rooms after the first night?

You should call the resort and ask them how to handle this. They will most likely inform you that there's no guarantee that you will get to stay in the same room. They should be able to link the two reservations and request that when your room is assigned it will be the same for the entire stay. Good luck!
