Your site indicates that the Feature (volcano pool) at the POLY will be closed 9/9/13--9/20/13. Both Disney and the POLY have denied this as of this morning (7/31/13). Can anyone explain this discrepancy??????

If you called the numbers posted for Reservations and the Poly, you reached a Central Call Center where many CM's are poorly trained and do not have all the latest info.

Also, Disney is vague about some refurbs for obvious reasons.

Spoke to concierge planning dept for Poly. Also, heard from Tikiman that this work, originally planned for September, was rescheduled back in May to now occur in January 2014. Will be interesting to see if the work remains to be scheduled for September on DIS board.

I spoke to IPO at the Poly and she said she had called the marina who oversees all the pool rehabs at the Poly and they told her the pool rehab was out off indefinitely. Hope that helps

I asked people at the pool today (lifeguards and bartenders) they all say no refurb coming anytime soon. One even went and asked a supervisor for me. So I'm pretty sure they aren't doing anything in September.

I am a TA & spike to a manager at Poly who says its no longer scheduled for sept as well as speaking to recreation as well so I'm banking it's not.. Ill be there 9/7-9/15 & have a cabana rental myself..
