We are going me, my wife and a cousin disable next september to WDW. We are thinking in stay at Poly or Boardwalk. Which do you think best to stay in terms of space and convenience? Also consider that we will go more times in the Epcot, 'cause will be the Food & Wine Festival.
My cousin will use scooter and needs roll-in shower. Does anyone have some experience in these resorts with these needs?

The Disability Board would be the best place to ask about details of room offerings for individuals in wheelchairs.

We have stayed at both resorts and their both convenient depending on your park plans. Often the location is the greatest part of the resort being convenient. The Poly is an original back when they overall provided larger rooms, but the difference is minor in our opinion.

I would also mention the Poly will most likely be impacted by their DVC construction in 2014.

For convenience to EP, hands-down Boardwalk! You will not have to deal with getting the scooter on a bus or monorail to get to EP - you will just walk and scooter right through International Gateway!

Another vote for Boardwalk. If you plan on spending most of your time at EPCOT you cant beat either Boardwalk or YC/BC. The luxury of not having to wait even one minute for WDW transportation is something we love when we have stayed at BC.

We see it the same, just got back from BC 4 weeks ago..... :thumbsup2

I have switched from BWI to CR to Poly in last 45 days! Lol. We really had our heart set in Poly it's our absolute favorite and I should have just went with it from the beginning!

Best views in all WDW, laid back, relaxing ambiance, lovely tropical landscaping, beautiful music and monorail is just an added bonus!!!
