Poly on Points..Lagoon View guaranteed?

We have reservations at the poly and at animal kingdom and since the points vary per room type I assume they are guaranteed. Is that correct? We should be there at around 3:00 pm to check in. We're staying in the concierge at the poly and when I made ressies they told me we had a lagoon view room. And we booked a savannah view (not deluxe sav.) at AK using points.

I've never been pickey as far as room views or locations at all but in these two instances we reeeaalllly want these views! Any suggestions what time I should head over to AK to check in (we're leaving the BCV that day so we thought the later the better)

Have you thought about selling your points for 10.00 per?
Purchasing an annual pass and waiting for the discount to come out.

they should be guaranteed. if they put you in another room (not with your guaranteed view) I would call DVC (while you are there) and demand the extra points for this view be returned to your account.

if you don't get the guaranteed view - you shouldn't have to pay for it.

I know- we had lots of points we needed to use, we booked the vacation, at hotels we've always wanted to stay at (concierge at poly, ouch)..Then I found this board and found there was a market for "renting" points. At this point we've gotten over it, plus since the points have already been transferred into the Disney Collection...I was thinking they wouldn't be as desirable to a renter. What do you think?
