Which longhouses offer a Magic Kingdom View?

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thinking about changing from a Garden View to MK view for next trip.

Thanks!

When I was there in December we were upgraded from a lagoon view to a MK view. We were in the Tahiti building. For what it is worth, I wouldn't actually pay for the upgrade because we spent such little time in the actual room enjoying the view.

I'm sure you'll love it no matter where you stay. It is a very pretty resort and really gives you a feeling of Disney magic.

Enjoy!

We will be there the week of Aug 7, and have a garden view. I have paid for upgraded room views at BWI, WL, AKL and can honestly say the only one worth it was AKL.

We stayed in a garden view room last time and it was beautiful.

i just want to make this vacation extra special. DH and I enjoy sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine. Being able to have a clear view of Wishes would be the icing on the cake.

From our room in Rarotonga, we could see Wishes, just not a super clear view.

I'll check out the Poly FAQ thread! thanks!

We were in the Tahiti...this is the building closest to the walkway to the T&TC which was very convenient for going to MK by ferry/monorail. The building was a long walk from volcano pool & main building, but we preferred being so close to the T & TC.

As for the view, we were on the 3rd floor, facing the MK...we had a fabulous view of Wishes every night, and of the Electric Boat parade. And every morning, we started our day with a cup of coffee on the deck with a view of the castle...lovely.

I will say that if you're on the 2nd floor or the first floor facing the MK lagoon your view could very well be blocked by the lush vegetation...even some of the 3rd floor rooms were probably blocked at least partially by very tall palm trees. So I suppose you could be wasting your money if you pay for a MK view & get a vegetation view with a little water showing through!

from what i've managed to find out, not all the rooms in tahiti (north side) are classed as MK view. its only those rooms with an unobstructed view that are allowed to be called MK view. ive booked one of these rooms, and i'm going to be pretty peeved if ive paid all that money and dont get a clear view of the MK!!!
(also i was bored one night and figured out how many of the MK view rooms dont have balconies, thought it may be of some help to the OP. about 12% of the MK view rooms dont are on the second floor and dont have either a balcony or a patio)
