Poly - LV or CL?

For the Poly experts/lovers out there - Would you rather stay Gardenview Club level or standard room Lagoon view? It's about a wash in terms of money and now having second thoughts. Thanks!

In my opinion I would stay CL with a garden view. Then you can go to the lounge to watch the fireworks and EWP every night while drinking your choice of beverage Good Luck and have fun!!!!

We had this same decision to make for our '08 trip. Decided on LV, because we are traveling with my parents this time around & will have four adults and one child (junior) in a single room. Requested Tahiti longhouse--hoping for the larger size room with a double sink (& we prefer the location). With five people in our room, we decided that the larger room + lagoon view definitely outweighed the concierge benefits for us. We don't plan to be at the resort a lot of the times when the evening food offerings are set out in the lounge--too many other holiday activities & night time shows that we want to experience.

Yes, I know we are not guaranteed Tahiti... but we're hoping the CMs will pixie dust us & grant our request. If we booked GVC, we know that we would be booking into a smaller room without the view.

I would definitely go with the garden view club level. We travel as a family of 5 (with two teens) and I love having the option of hanging out in the lounge early in the morning when everyone else wants to sleep in. I feel like we have more room because there are more places to spread out. We don't really hang in the room much and we don't take as much advantage of the food offerings in the evening, either. But it's been great for us in the past to catch the fireworks from the lounge if it's cold or rainy or we're just too pooped from the day. For me, it's worth it even with a garden view (which have been quite lovely for us) just for the lounge access.
I also really like having the IPO staff right there to help with last minute reservations or problems. They've made a huge difference for us!

You'll have a great time no matter what you choose!

Its just a matter of personal preference. It sounds like you do not have a defined personal preference causing you to question your decision you have already made.

Personally we always get the Lagoon View and Club. The lounge provides another place to relax beyond your room with a range of drink/snack offerings throughout the day with CM assistance. A view is just that a view that you look at for x minutes out of the day. If we were to choose between a MK View Standard Room or Club Garden View I think we would select the club.

Also, if you select club you know you will be assigned to the Hawaii building

Thanks for the replies. We are booked GVC, but today I started second guessing the view. We stayed Tower CR last trip and loved it so that's why I'm wondering if we will miss the view. It sounds like the lounge has a fantastic view so I guess I will leave things as they are - for now anyway

If I HAD to choose...I would pick LV. I have always had MK view. I love sitting on my balcony, drinking coffee or sipping wine. I love concierge, but the view comes first for us.

I would go with Lagoon view. Watching the castle change colors at night, the fireworks, all from our balcony are important to us. - more important than the snacks.
