I know MK views are not guarnteed but from what I have been researching it looks like Poly offers more view of the MK. We have booked GF Lagoon and never gotten a castle view because we drive from GA and always check in late. I was just wondering if anyone knew if the Poly offered more MK views. I would be willing to even lean out my balcony to view. :rolleyes1

Poly has 3 building for LV areotatoe, tahiti and tavula. all are frontal views. There are a couple of rooms side view in tokelau too. That's it. Check them out on Tikiman's web site sorry don't have the link. The view is straight at the magic kingdom, but it is all the way across seven seas lagoon. a bit of a distance, very picturesque for fireworks. ::MickeyMo But the castle view is the castle at a distance and that makes it "small" to view. We have been in tahiti many times on the 3rd floor and the view is wonderful. It was unobstructive frontal! :sunny: Very nice.

The GF has more of a side kiddy / corner view of the castle from most of its lv rooms and then some have the lean over the balcony for the frontal view. We have had buildings conch key lv (x2) with dead on castle view, just like on tv. Also had Big pine key with the lean over balcony view for the frontal magic kingdom view. Both where exceptional. Closer so that the castle is larger, as is the other landmarks of the mk that you can view.

Best view thou: NEITHER. Sorry, it is still the CR tower. Any floor, and room, facing the magic kingdom. CR is in need of the rehab it is starting or they are planning BUT it is hands down the best park / castle view going. ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

Hope this helps, Mky princess:

Personally, I love the view of MK from the Polynesian. I haven't stayed Contemporary Tower MK view since the 70's but I hear it's amazing. At any rate we're Polynesian fans so we've stayed there at least once a year for the past 5 years since we've been taking the kids and staying on-site. I think the view from a LV balcony is amazing. We've seen wishes and the special MVMCP fireworks from that vantage point and it's mind blowing when the MVMCP fireworks fill your entire field of perspective.

The thing about the Polynesian, per your question, is that you don't have to have an LV room to have an excellent view from the many beaches, if you're hoping to watch fireworks or take in scenary.
