Poly here we come! Live report

Just arrived and waiting for the ME shuttle. It is a little chilly-about 54 degrees. But still better than 11 degrees feels like -2 at home.

Posting on iPhone so these will be short. Arrived at1Pm. Room wasn't ready until after 5PM went to MK tonight for Spectro. Very crowded but we expected that. Tempe were in the 40s! But we had a great time. Lots of Dance Team girls here . Most with family. No large group and no problem at all. I saw 1 woman in a wheelchair holding her mouth (vomitting) being wisked to bathroom. Also saw 2 piles of vomit in street after parade. Hope the stomach bug isn't out of control.....worries me. Off to bed. Am bfast at Ohana w/ Lilo&Stich! Then MK for RD!

1Pm and back in hotel room for a nap. Bfast was great. We love Stitch. Got to Mk at RD. Went straight to Dumbo & got right on. Then Pooh, PP, IASW, CIndys Carousel,barnstormer......that was all before 10:15! We found out our DS 3&1/2 does not like the dark rides anymore. PP & Pooh scared him. After Barnstomer took train to Fromtierland. Rode AlladinMC, POC... Walked right on. Got FP for Jungle Cruise then had lunch at CHHouse. Took some photopass pics and rode the Monorail back to Poly. That monorail is so so awesome and conveinent! We are heading back to MK later for EMH. We think it will not be too crowded due to the SuperBowl.
Funny story, I made 3 shirts for our trip. Todays shirt had a small MIckey head on front left with "Mom" on my shirt, "dad" on my DHs etc.(main design was on back). The waitress at Ohana asked why I had the dad shirt& DH had the mom shirt on!? We wore the wrong shirts and had NO IDEA!Funny and. Embarassing too LOL

Back at room at 10 PM. JK was great tonight. We stayed for EMH until 9:30 PM . Crowds were great all evening. PP wait was 20 min and Dumbo was 20 min. At around 9PM. We stumbled upon a photopass opportunity behind the castle. We got our picture with Minney and Mickey together. I was so excited! It was a great day. Tonight we rode Jungle Cruise with FP, Alladin MC, Astro Orbitor (25 min wait), TTA, Buzz Lightyear, IASW.
In response to above, the room at the Poly is great. Very spacious , great location. We are in Tokelau on the third floor. We have a direct view of the quiet pool .
Tomorrow is our sleep in day. We are planning on lunch at Wispsring Canyon at WL. Then to Epcot.

How's the weather holding up for you guys?

It's Mon around 2:30P . It has been pouring down rain for a few hours now. We went to MK this morning hoping to catch the Steelers MVP parade. We got there around 10AM . Asked about parade at guest services. They said 11AM. So we lined up on main Street and waited. The parade actually came thru at 12;30. It was awesome. It was a sea of black and gold. We thought we were back in the 'Burgh. It was quick tho.....Santonio rode in the car with Mickey. It lasted about 5 min. But it was def worth the wait. We had to cancel our ADR for WCC. We are going to Epcot and got a last minute early dinner at Garden Grill. Off to Epcot!

I was just reading this post and noticed you said you were in 3rd floor Tokelau with a direct view of the quiet pool. That was us in december room 3942. wanted to tell you to go on your balcony and look to the right you can probably see the castle!!!!!It took us 2 days of our trip to realize this but the rest of our stay I spent all night on the balcony watching the castle change colors. Hope the rest of your trip is Magical

Back at the Poly at 7:30PM. We arrined at EP arond 3:30 in the pourimg rain. Went right to Land Pav and got FPs for Soarin. (standby was 50 min). Our return time wss 5:36. Rode livin w/ the land before dinner. Dinner at the GG was great. We were seated as soon as the rest opened at 4P. Mickey came right over and then Dale. The characters were waiting for each other to finish. They spent a lot of time with DS. It was great. We were famished so we gobbled down our food. After dinner we saw Circle of Life. By then it was 5:30. We had 6 min to wait until FP time. We are standing there waiting &I saw a green flag waver coming my way----O NO-----U guessed it. A BTG with about 100 teenagers was heading our way into theFP return line for Soarin. We coulnt get ahead because it was5:34. We turned right around and headed for The Seas. Walked onto Nemo and then walked right into TTWCrush. It was awesomely empty there. Crush was awesome. We them headed back to Land and used out FPs for Soarin. (The standby line was only 25 min!) we got right onto Soarin and of was incredible. My fav so far. My 3 ur old DS loved it! I was so worried about this and he Loved it! go figure....Peter Pan scared him......???He does not like the dark rides. Off to bed now . Early A M Bfast at TH with Safari Donald. Then a fun filled day at AK. Hope it stops raining

We unfortunately can not see the castle. We look to the right off our balcony and 2 huge Palm trees block the way. But we can see a little bit of the fireworks high in the sky.
