POLY Fireworks view

Just a question.

If our family staya at a standard room at POLY, and not a MK view room, are we able to still see the MK fireworks, or only the people in MK view rooms will have that advantage?

You won't see them from your room, but you can go to the beach to watch.

Actually, you can see (and hear) Wishes from some of the standard view rooms. For example, we were in the Tokelau longhouse on the quiet pool side this past summer - we could see the fireworks from our balcony and hear the piped-in music from the pool area. Nice!

We had a Garden View (Tokelau), 3rd floor, not too far from the beach, and we had a pretty good view of the fireworks. It was not completely unobstructed (trees), but the fireworks are high enough to get a decent view. It was fine-don't need to see them every night from the beach. The view from the beach is better, however.

I just go and hang out on the beach... If you want - try to sit by the speakers by the walkways and you will be able to hear a bit of the soundtrack, albeit very low, volume wise... I've also heard the soundtrack from the park.

One good thing also to being down at the beach - try either a hammock or a lounge chair if you can get them... is that the Electrical Water Parade also goes past the Poly beach around the time - just before I think the fireworks.

And depending on when you are going... like if you are there for MVMCP or MNSSHP, DEFINATELY go to the beach - you get to see the perimiter fireworks and they are fantastic!!! (Even better than in the park!!!)

There are plenty of great places to watch Wishes from the Poly if you can't see them from your room. Anywhere on the beach is nice. You can also see them very well while sitting pool side. Another great place is the boat launch at the end of the pier. I strongly prefer watching Wishes from the Poly over from the Magic Kingdom. The view is certainly more impressive and dramatic from the MK but you are usually elbow to elbow with other park goers and the mass exodus afterwards is awful!
