I believe Tikiman's info to be accurate - that Poly DVC will have bungalows and studios only.
After returning from vacation at WDW and catching up on all the posts, and seeing the skepticism regarding the makeup of a Poly DVC, I went back and examined the filings with the South Florida Water Management District.
Tikiman has previously mentioned that both Tahiti and Rapa Nui would be DVC.
Well on the documents filed with the state, Tahiti is shown on the plans as blank with just an outline of the building while Rapa Nui actually shows floor plans for the first floor. I blew those plans up to get a better look and then inquired with Tikiman if these floor plans were the current layout - he said they were not!
The bathroom area looks to be larger than those of a current Poly hotel room, more akin to the GFV Studio bathroom with an extra shower.
Additionally, the connecting door is not where it is on the current layout, suggesting that these may be DVC studio floor pans inadvertently left in the filing documents and not intended to be released by DVC.
Connecting studios would of course mean a greater ability to accommodate parties of more than the normal studio quota in the absence of 1BR & 2 BR villas.
Here is the blow up of the plans, from page 6 of the document which Tikiman has also placed on his Facebook page:
