We are staying Poly Concierge July 10-17. Received itinerary planner and filled it out will all information including many PS arrangements. I have heard nothing back, no calls or Emails. I went ahead and made my own PS arrangements, because our trip is 18 days away.

Many people post on the boards about getting phone calls if Customer Service can be of any help and many people post that they get very little assistance. Why are not all guests treated the same? Just wondering??
 
Looks like our trips are going to overlap :earsboy: as for getting a response, I did all of my work with the concierge using email. (WDW.Polynesian.Island.Planning.Office@disney.com) and had great success that way. I would drop them a note with any concerns or questions and I am sure they will be happy to help out.

As for the information in the planner - we did not hear anything back on it last year, and when we arrived were given all the information that they had set up everything we requested when we requested.

I say keep intouch. I feel like part of the fun of staying @ concierge level is keeping in touch with the staff . Calling with questions, hard to get ressies, ideas that they may have to improve the trip. When we went they played a part in the planning. So I say go for it , give them a call or e-malil. I think you will find them to be so nice an helpful.
 
I called them and had them E-Mail me with all my PS times and confirmation #s!

My pet peeve with concierge. Some receive the planning forms; some don't. Others have your experience and others practically have the concierge contacting them regulary. I agree - same level of service for all concierge guests. I've wondered myself why the different levels of service.

They can't call you or email you if they don't have that information.
 
It's so funny how we all have different wishes when it comes to our WDW trips. When I get the Poly Conc. planning form, I throw it out. I like to do my own planning and like the immediate comfort of having my PS arrangements/conf. numbers right when I'm on the phone. I have yet to speak with a CM before arriving at the Hawaii building in the last 8 times that we have stayed there. I go for the convenience of breakfast in the lounge, proximity to the MK and I like the Hawaii building's location. Turn down service is not very important to me however I do like the trash emptied and fresh towels. We do always tip for it. For our family the few reasons above, make concierge our choice of service level while at the Poly. Whatever your pleasure, enjoy your trip! Threehearts
 
My phone # and EMail address was included on the itinerary planner that I filled out and mailed, so they do have that information. I also gave out this information when I made my reservation.
