has anyone eaten at Pollo Campero? What are your thoughts? I tried the search function and keep getting a "no results found" which I find very hard to believe!

We ate there on our arrival day in May. We thought it was quite good! We had the family meal, which was our choice of 8 pieces of chicken or around 12 chicken strips, or half of both. We opted to get the 4 pieces of chicken and 6 strips, and it came with 2 family-sized portions of sides. We chose fries and salsa/chips. (Would have liked a veggie but none appealed to our kids.) It was also served with fresh tortillas that were quite good. The family meal was $20, plus 4 drinks made it about $30, which is in line with what we'd pay at a casual service restaurant at home. We were all full, we thought the chicken was very tasty, and it was a nice change of pace. We would definitely eat there again.

Hope this helps!

We ate there in July and really enjoyed it. It was nice being able to get something "different" from Disney chicken. The flavor was great, and we loved how quiet the restaurant was. We opted to get our desserts from Babycakes and ended up throwing them away. We didn't care for the flavor of the cupcakes.

Should be noted here that Babycakes is a vegan bakery, and I think everything they sell is also gluten-free. They do not contain wheat flour, or any animal products like dairy, eggs, or honey. So they may be a little different from what non-vegans or those without food allergies may be used to.

We ate there in April twice & I was not impressed. Not much food for what they charge and it was just o.k. I was really disappointed because I thought we would really like it. It was not for us, we won't be returning.

NOTE: Polo Campero is in the previous McDonald's food court
in Downtown Disney. It is basically fast food. In my opinion,
it is highly overpriced mediocre dry chicken. From others who
have eaten there, they have said their meals were not up to
the quality or taste of Chick-Fil-A. They have a long way
to go to bring up the quality to acceptable standards.

We ate there last June and thought it was ok for a QSDP meal. The chips and salsa were great and unlike the previous poster, we LOVED the Babycakes Cupcakes!

We had some really bad service. We waited 15+ minutes for some sides while the rest of our food sat on the tray and got cold. Then they couldn't get our order right at the register. Hopefully they were just having an off night. I am sure we'll give them another chance some day.
