I thought it might be interesting to ask this question in the form of a poll. Thanks for participating!

I didn't. I did feel pretty dizzy and a little tired after it though.

I felt 'strange' for a few moments while exiting up the long hallway, but was okay by the time I got to arcade area. Not nauseous, just a weird feeling, LOL, lightheaded maybe.

I felt a little queasy after my first time, lasted about 10 minutes. I went back for a second ride after that and was OK.

The first time I followed the directions to look straight ahead, the second time I played with all of the buttons and switched within reach during the ride and felt much better.

I think that if you really get into your roll in the ride that your mind is sufficently occupied to not let the ride get to you.

They stress to look at the screen and dont close your eyes. Its true i went on the second time to test the little theory and i didnt feel half as good as the first time. So just look at the screen and you will be fine. :)

DH and I rode it several times in May. It didn't make either of us sick or dizzy or anything like that.

I felt sick after I rode it, but I can't really do any type of simulator ride.

Didn't feel nauseous after riding MS. I followed the directions that the CM gave about not closing my eyes, looking straight ahead and keeping my head back against the headrest. I was a little nervous about pushing the buttons (I was the navigator), but everything turned out fine!:earsboy:

Not at all. Actually, it made us hungry! We weren't sure we'd want to go to our PS at Rose and Crown, but as soon as we got off Mission:Space, we were all starved!

MS has only bothered me once. The first time we took our nephews 6&7, the mom in me, looked sideways to make sure they were ok. I felt a little queasy for a few minutes after, otherwise I've never had a problem.

I voted no, but then again I suffer really badly from motion sickness so never go on any ride without my travel sickness bands on!! I guess if I hadn't worn them then I would be voting yes!!

I was a little woozy (light headed?) after my first ride. I really enjoyed the second ride(on a subsequent trip). I think all the warnings really messed with me the first time. Also, I rode on an empty stomach both times. As much as I enjoyed my second ride, I will only go on this attraction first thing in the morning(having consumed no food since the night before).:earsboy:

I never had a problem on Mission Space and I've ridden it 3 times now. The teacups, Body Wars and Star tours are another story!

:crazy2: I don't do so well on those rides! ::yes::

dd and i went on this in dec last year. dd was a little nervous because spinning rides make her feel sick, but i could hardly wait as i am not bothered by any kind of ride(unless fear counts:rolleyes: ) anyway, we both had read all of the tips and we did not close our eyes, look away, etc, and we BOTH felt very ill throughout and afterwards:( we both kept praying the ride would end soon! afterwards we went and sat down and had a juice, we were fine in half an hour, but i was really shocked. i had not anticipated that i would feel sick. how dissapointing:( i had been so looking forward to this new experience and i will NEVER ride this again!
katypop:D

DH absolutely loved it and can't wait to do it again next time! No sicky feelings at all! I actually wimped out but that was ok, someone had to stay off with the kids!

I did as the warnings said - looked straight ahead at all times, didn't close my eyes. I did try to glance over at a friend for a second and that was the only time I felt the spinning. I felt strange afterward, kind of disoriented for a couple hours. Not nauseated, just "spaced out". I left my bag on the ride, luckily a castmember found it before the next ride started. I'm not real fond of simulator rides to start with, I hated Back to the Future. I was OK through the launch, through the circle of the moon, but when it started weaving in and out on the landing on Mars, it started to get to me. I did MS once, that's probably it.

I LOVED this ride!!! I went on it 4 times. When I got home I found out that earlier versions had you going to Mars and returning home. I was bummed. I would have loved a longer ride.

I absolutely hated this ride...it made me feel like crap after going on it. My dd(8) wanted to go back on it sooo bad and I was like no way!!!

They way people talked about this I was ready to be seriously sick. I am not a person who tolerates spinning and twirling around well (indeed I once nearly lost it on a "teacup" ride for tots) but this was not too bad.

I felt slightly nauseous and started to perspire by the time we landed on "Mars". I was not sure how I would fare on the return trip to Earth but woohoo, it ended there. A two minute rest and I was as good as new....

not me but husband ( prone to MS) got pretty sick...didn't voimit but definetly felt the "urge " to..he obeyed "all the rules but it didn't help
