Perhaps you should add another option to your poll ...
No, but only because I was smart/scared enough to take motion sickness medicine before boarding!

I answered no! By the looks of the poll results it is probably about the average mix for any "thill" ride. Perhaps a little higher because so much has been said about how you WILL get sick on this ride. The mind has a lot to do with how we react to things. Those with legitmate inner ear and motion sickness problems will more than likely have a problem on MS. Those that do not experience negative things on other rides will usually have the same track record on MS.

The person that said that the first time they felt a little quezzy but didn't the second time, in all probability, were experiencing the effect that the mind has over our responses.

I cant believe I could vote no!
We were at WDW in June and I was NOT looking forward to doing MS.
I cant do ST or BW or any motions sims. So I figured I would get on this(had to try it once:) )and my day or even my trip would end up a wash.
BUT..........
I did it and I came out just waiting to feel sick and to my surprise I was fine! It was fun. I didnt do it again.... I wasnt going to push my luck.;)
My sister on the other hand, who was not afraid to go on, got alittle sick from it, but recovered quickily .

I, who get sick on anything that spins, loops or goes upside down have ridden it twice with no problems. Maybe it's because I have worn the patch both times. Don't know if it's physical or psychological, but whatever it is it works. Loved it both times. What a rush!

this isa amazinf that 1 :4 felt sick...i wonder if any other attraction has that high of odds. i don't feel this could be all hype either since hubby was positive he would not get sick and did.

For a second or 2 on the ride and for a minute or two after I feel weird....but I love the ride...

DS(10), and myself are both 'wimps' when it comes to spinny types of rides....So yep, we felt pretty rough afterwards, and didn't really feel right all day. But we can say we did it, though::yes::

I rode it for the first time last week and it was great!!! My husband said he got really hot while on it and he doesn't ever get motion sickness. My 10 year old daughter, who hardly rides any fast rides, loved it too. We kept telling her that if she could ride that, she could ride anything. Do you realize how fast you have to spin to create G-Force like that??? :earseek: I could feel my cheeks moving back. Wow - Such a great ride!!!

That ride made me sick beyond reasoning...I don't know how all of you people keep your mickey bars down...yuck...!

I rode with 3 others and felt relatively ok. 2 of the 4 didn't feel so hot when the ride was over, but no "serious" side effects. I won't ride again though since it seems like people have to take medicine and psyche themselves into a proper frame of mind in order to ride. No thanks, I'm on vacation and don't care to spend even a minute of it feeling "out of sorts" just for a 4 minute ride. Not worth it. The bright side is there's all the more room for the rest of those that do enjoy it though!
