We have 921 pts at BW and OKW, and we are empty-nesters. We have pts for our family vacations every year, so we get two-bedroom villas and GV's at least once a year, and 1 bedroom villas when we go alone. We love vacationing with all our children and their families, but it's nice when they go home, too!

We have 300-points and our home resort is Beach Club Villas. We have been members since 2002.

We are a family of 5, and because of school we tend to travel from late May through mid August.

We always get a two bedroom villa for one week.

These points are adequate for our current needs!

We go 2 to 4 times a year now.

We just bought 200 BWV points.

There are four of us: myself, DW, DD9 and DS7.

We haven't made a DVC trip yet but the plan is to go every other year in mid/late August. If it is just us then we'll get a 1BR for 10 to 12 days. If we have friends or family along the trip will be shorter and the rooms will depend on who's there. We'll do this until the kids are in college. After that there will be more trips with just DW and I staying in a studio or a 1BR. Probably during October, November and December.

I can see us adding on in the future.

We have 450 at OKW and 150 at VB. We joined in 1994 when my children were 21 and 17. We had actually stayed at OKW before we knew there was a timeshare there. It was the only one at the time. We love having a kitchen and laundry. We nearly always travel with extra people and love it that way. There are 9 of us now. We stay at OKW in a GV and about every other year in a cottage at VB. Nothing better than lots of people having lots of fun. We go once a year usually in May. We started with 225 points and have added on, as you can see, several times. We added VB last as we wanted the 11 month window for the cottages. We are taking my brand new grandson in Oct for his first trip HOME to see Mickey. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

We are a family of 4. My DH, DD 13, and DS 10.

We origianlly had 200 points at HH and then added on 130 points at SSR so we have a total of 330 point.

We usually go to Disney once a year and we like to stay for at least 10 days or more.

My favorite time of the year to go is October. We can't do that anymore because the kids are getting too old to pull out of school. We are now more limited to school vacations and summers.

There are 4 of us total... 2 teenage "Princesses"...

What time you like to travel, and for how long.
Whenever we have the chance... usually in the summer and Christmas!

We have two small children, so a studio works great for us.

What time you like to travel, and for how long.
We are Florida residents and we like to do a lot of "long weekend" type get-aways, all time of year except summer!

What time you like to travel, and for how long.

1st time home was Sunday after Thanksgiving, we stayed for a full week in a 2 br. so off peak times mostly , trying to make the most of our points. Our oldest is entering college in the fall so we can't pull her out of school like we have done with the little ones.
What I love is, we could go during off peak times and save enough points that my almost 18 year old can go during Spring Break next year with friends and I won't have to worry so much about her!

We bought with the intent of going every 12-18 months. Last year we went twice, first time off property, second time as DVC owners. So we will wait to go again until Xmas of 2007. Since we knew we weren't going this year I was able to rent my points out to pay for a vacation to Cancun.

We have to get a 2 bedroom with a family of 6 but DH and I are planning on taking an anniversary trip this oct....

The absolute beauty of DVC is- you can tailor it so many ways to fit your family and situation. If your situation changes from year to year , or your desires... it's flexible.

There are just the two of us at the moment, however hopefully our second IVF attempt will be successful...

We go for two weeks every year. Our preferred vacation times are late August (my birthday and our wedding anniversary) or early October (DH's birthday).

We bought enough points to be able to stay for two weeks in a 1BR every year during Dream season.
