Condoleeza is too much of a "yes" man for my tastes and in my opinion she has been caught in as many falsehoods and half truths as Bush...Hillary all the way!

Have to agree with that one. I greatly admired Condoleeza a few years ago...read a biography about her. She had accomplished quite a bit. Find it a little odd that she loves pro football players (dated them) But I've had a chance to see her in action now, and ALL I see is a "yes-woman" for G.W. - a lap dog. Presidential material? I don't think so. I want a candidate that is their own person.

Is Hillary that candidate. I like a lot of what she has to say. She is intelligent and capable, but I'm not sure she's electable and the 2008 election is no time to "test the waters" - too much is at stake - our country's survival depends on it.

It means that in order for a liberal to win, they have to present themselves as moving towards the center. She has supported the war in Iraq and interestingly enough, the press made little note of the 30 or so war protesters that were at her last public speaking event. She gave Cindy Sheehan little comfort. This move towards the center may be more than the Move On.org people will be able to handle. I think she is too polarizing to be electable and that is the poll that matters.

Btw, here's the dirty little secret of what's really going on in mainstream America. They've turned away from the Bush administration, see the policies for the disasters they are, and see this war for what it is.

Shopping for new shoes on 5th Ave. while people are on their roofs begging for help in New Orleans says a lot about her character, imo. In the same circumstances I think Colin Powell would be on a helicopter to Crawford to wake up Mr. Bush. If the election is over, I think Senator Clinton won (unless there are some hanging chads left to be counted ).
