Poll: Do you get BORED AT work?

Yes, Monday morning is coming up soon and most of us will be back to the 8-5 grind. Do you get bored at work? I have a poll.

This best describes how you feel about your job:

1) My job is extremely boring. I am bored silly!

2) My job is somewhat boring but at least it keeps me out of trouble

3) The work I do is quite interesting but now and then gets boring

4) I have the most interesting jobs- its great!

And ADD a part about there is so much to do there is never any time to be bored!!

I answered 1, only because the bulk of my job is VERY boring. I work the overnight shift at a large campus of group foster homes, I work 11-9, our kids have to be in bed by 9pm and don't wake till after I leave if it's a weekend. All I do is try to watch tv (we only get three channels) and read. It's lonely.

However it can be the other way too, TOO Exciting, ie; fighting, running away, emergencies, etc. Also weekdays are busy, the girls get up at 6am and I'm alone with 12 of them till 7:30 or so, getting dressed, meds, etc.

Most of my excitement comes from other staff and drama, there are all women staff at our job so there's always gossip, rumors, etc.

I go to school, so I am going to say 3, because yeah, we are learning and doing work, but I still get bored stupid sometimes.
