I have 3 children who love bubbles also... but I have more consideration for others than to have my children blowing them in a tight queue because that's invading OTHER people's personal space and could very easily get them wet/soapy from those bubbles. We don't have a RIGHT to put anything on other people- not water, soap, soda (for example) or anything else... if they wanted it on them, they'd put it on them themselves. And honestly I'm surprised that so many people think it's wrong to not want others to put stuff on you! Just because you don't mind soap/bubbles on you -doesn't mean you get to decide that for others. Soap/bubbles doesn't bother me- but I wouldn't ever DARE blow bubbles with my kids when I'm standing inches from others in a line at Disney World or anywhere else... I think that's just rude!
Okay so maybe if you really want to- ask those around you in line before pulling it out and starting to blow bubbles. But don't get all "you're so uptight" if they say no... they have the RIGHT to not want your soap/bubbles on them!

This is the entire post. I don't want to make anyone feel like they've been taken out of context or misunderstood. :D

Quick get them up though - those June weddings are coming FAST!!!!

Why woudl i want to home school her LOL..I want her to out and out quit so we can travel, I don't want to have to work : )

Like I said, I've been selling them for 10 years, so I know how popular they have been. My wedding planner/partner is still selling them for me. This was the first time I've run into this. But then it was the first time for the rice and seeds too. and look what happened there : ( It's not good..once it starts, it spreads. So onto the next idea.

Hire a tutor with all those big bucks you're making on ebay - LOL..

Hasn't the issue with rice and bird seeds been around for quite some time? I'm pretty sure I was aware of that when my DD got married almost 10 years ago..

Ya know, we are a bubble loving household here! LOL Bubbles wouldn't bother me in line unless they were being blown in my face... no parental control. I would be more concerned with others being bothered than myself, so I probably wouldn't bring bubbles for my girls. But what a great "conversation piece" with the characters! LOL

It wouldn't bother me at all! I am such a little kid because I love bubbles. If anyone around me was blowing bubbles, I might have to jump in and pop some. :teeth:

We lost confetti first. Then rice (lost rice completely about 10 years ago, just as I was making containers for it because people were getting hit in the eye..but I noticed the fancy weddings on TV still use rice. Birdseed has been around for a very long time. Just recently it's come to a halt. Wild flower seeds were used for awhile. By far the most popular has been bubbles, but usually once one place says no, it seems to spread.

So I think I won't stock up too heavily.

Nope, won't hire a tutor..we're enjoying that money for traveling. If I used it for schooling we won't be able to travel..then I won't need grand to quit school LOL.

Perhaps when I bring bubbles next week to Disney and sell them in the lines, I can make more money! Anyone want to pick up bubbles from my room at POR? Remember to come in the darkness, so no one knows where you got them. Darn, why couldn't I have thought of this when sitting the stroller, or Pal Mickey??
