POLL - are you staying at AKL soon or are you an AKL refugee?

I was booked in a pool view room at AKL from Aug 12-26. In early July, my TA called Disney and I was moved to a Garden View room at the Poly.

We're booked Sept. 11th-19th and haven't been called. I haven't made my final payment yet though either and need to do that in a couple of days.

We were booked for AKL standard view 8/31 - 9/9 and got the call last week. We have been moved to the Poly garden view. Was looking forward to staying at AKL, but am thrilled to be going to the Poly!

You check in after us, we check in on 8/26, so I am hoping that means no call for us.

We are booked at AKL Savanah view for 9/3 to 9/8 and have not gotten the call yet. We were 45 days on Fri so are holding our breath a bit...

We were booked 8/20 - 8/26, AKL pool view and got the call on July 8th (after I made the final payment! ) We split the 6 nights into 4 at the Poly Lagoon View and 2 at WL woods view.

We are arriving 8/18. Since we are staying Concierge, I'm not expecting a call. I don't believe they've closed any of these rooms.

Just got the call today.......08/13 - 08/19 std view. Offered BWI, BC and WL courtyard. Really don't like any of the options though......not quite sure what I plan on doing just yet.

Although SSR with money back would be nice.....

I would have a serious problem. I have no desire to stay at any of those resorts.

We are booked at AKL Savannah View Bunk Bed Room from 8/4 to 8/11, haven't gotten a call. I booked through a TA and I've been staying in touch with her to make sure she hasn't hear anything. I'm really beginning to get anxious about getting moved when we arrive, that will REALLY upset me.

Never got the option.......I was instructed that there were no rooms available. And that I would be accomadated as best as possible......as long as availability allows.

Took the SSR option, one bedroom villa, today with a lil under 750.00 back.

Kept pushing for the Poly but it was all full........my options were YC, BC, BWI, Contemp all std view or WL courtyard.

Thought about the YC & BC for awhile but couldnt pass up that much money back. With the extra loot we're stayin at Universal for 3 days......so I guess I can't complain.

Again if your staying in Aug at the AKL, unless your conceirge, they will call you.....according to my AAA TA. So definitely be proactive.....I had a std view room.

My TA (w/mouse fan travel) has called disney three times regarding my reservation and each time has been told I do not have to move my reservation is in place and there will be a savannah view bunk bed room ready for me when we check in on 8/4. I'm not sure how much more proactive I could be other than calling myself but since I booked through at TA I don't think they'll talk to me.

I'm still staying at AKL - haven't got the phone call. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I won't but . . . . I am being proactive and researching what resort I would be willing to stay in if I had to move. I've booked a Savanna view room, so would that entitle me to another resort with a "view room" or would I be stuck with whatever they gave me even if it's looking at a parking lot?
