::MinnieMo Over Easter we are staying at VWL for the first time.
Some good friends will be in Orlando at the same time and want to stop by. Is it ok for them to join us poolside for an afternoon or is this a No-No? (They are not familiar with DVC).
Anyone had the same situation?

I would just call the front desk and ask them ahead of time. It shouldn't be a problem, but since it's Easter week, the pools may be very crowded.

If your friends can't join you at the pool, perhaps you could rent a pontoon boat, and have a nice lunch aboard, or go visit the petting zoo at FW.

Hi Xtatic,

i have a sister that lives in Orlando. She and her 12 yr old son often stop by to visit us either at VWL or Boardwalk. I have never had a problem. All I do is tell the security guard down on the driveway that operates the gate. I give him their name, and approximate time of arrival. Once in a rare while the guard will ask the visitor for a picture I.D., before opening the gate.

Have fun !
