Thank you, I just went and did this, but I'm a little confused as to how I can use them now as the site seems like it is just a way to reference the balance. It says I cannot make purchases and that I will still need the physical ecard for purchases. It's not really a problem, I guess it just makes me wonder what is the purpose of adding them to this site.yes, you can combine cards on the disney gift card site.
By adding them to the site you can combine the balances of multiple cards up to a maximum of $1000Thank you, I just went and did this, but I'm a little confused as to how I can use them now as the site seems like it is just a way to reference the balance. So if I combine my 4 cards to 1 card and then I go to my Disney experience app, add park tickets and then in the payment line I am only adding 1 account number? If the total doesn't use up the whole card how do I know which e card card still has money on it? If I wanted to use the balance say at a restaurant while I'm there or at a gift shop? I guess my brain isn't working today and I apologize for what are probably stupid questions.By adding them to the site you can combine the balances of multiple cards up to a maximum of $1000
Once you combine the ecards only 1 will have a balance so make note of that 16 digit number as well as the 8 digit number. Then remove the other 3 from disneygiftcard.com so it's not confusing. However if you want to leave all 4 you can because the website will always show you what cards have what balance. Physical cards are easier to use in the parks so I would get one of those to transfer the ecards to.So if I combine my 4 cards to 1 card and then I go to my Disney experience app, add park tickets and then in the payment line I am only adding 1 account number? If you combine the cards into one, the balance of all e-cards transferred from is now 0, and the balance of the physical card they were transferred to is the total of what it had on it, and what was just transferred to it.So if I combine my 4 cards to 1 card and then I go to my Disney experience app, add park tickets and then in the payment line I am only adding 1 account number? I think I got it lol, transfer all 4 to 1 card and keep that 1 ecard for "physical use" purchases when necessaryIf you combine the cards into one, the balance of all e-cards transferred from is now 0, and the balance of the physical card they were transferred to is the total of what it had on it, and what was just transferred to it.
In that scenario yes you can purchase your park tickets and enter only that single gift card number. If there's a balance remaining on it after that transaction you can then use that same physical card at the restaurant/gift shop.
That was me in November lol! This time it seems I am being held to the limit. I bought 2, tried to add more and the limit message popped up.I stopped at 8 DGC's with Sam's because I maxed out my Discover 5%.
I'm tempted to keep going but I don't really need anymore![]()
Oh well you can't actually "physical use" an e-card you can type in the numbers and charge it online or for like a mobile order at WDW/DL or request a Cast Member at the Hotel or DCL to load it onto your file as a credit to be drawn from while using your key or magic band to charge.I think I got it lol, transfer all 4 to 1 card and keep that 1 ecard for "physical use" purchases when necessary
You can print out the e-gift card and physically use it anywhere DGCs are accepted. (If a card comes direct from Disney Store online you can load it to digital wallets like apple pay to be scanned from there.) You are correct in that you cannot use the website to make any charges to the DGC.Oh well you can't actually "physical use" an e-card you can type in the numbers and charge it online or for like a mobile order at WDW/DL or request a Cast Member at the Hotel or DCL to load it onto your file as a credit to be drawn from while using your key or magic band to charge.
You can definitely combine your e-cards into a single one, but if you want to be able to swipe and use it anywhere you would need an actual physical card to transfer your e-cards onto.
Were you trying to hit the Citi SYW offer? I can confirm bestbuy online currently codes as home improvement (even though the words say electronic when it posts)... it also codes as online spend... FYI flyertalk has a good thread for this card if you're looking for DPs. Can't believe I didn't think to check there when this home improvement offer started *facepalm*Anyone know if Home Depot or Lowes usually carries DGC's (location would be around Orlando)? Need to have some home improvement spend for credit card offer.
