I think that if you fight with the police you get what you deserve, and they use what ever force is needed to take you into custody.

Ewwww!!!!:scared1:

If someone spit on me DH would have them down on the ground so fast it would make their head spin. 5 of them, I don't know. I would like to know what they were mad about or did they just think everyone would think it was funny to get spit on???? All I can say is "IDIOTS".:confused3

Good for them, they are lucky they were only tasered. I'm wondering if it had happened anywhere else, not in a family theme park what could have happened.

Am I also the only one who is shaking her head saying, "Three of them were GIRLS. The girls were spitting and beating up a police officer." Wow, I am SO out of touch! :confused3

They're lucky only 1 of them got tased.

No. They're VERY lucky the cops didn't feel the need to use their service weapons! I've heard of some people snapping under pressure and later admitting that they had a "brain fart" but these people: they were just BEGGING for trouble!:sad2:

I think I speak for all NYers when I say we don't ALL act like that. Not only that, my little cousins are there this week and I hope they were in another part of the park when it happened.

it has nothing to do with NYc, they were from Long Island. I live in manhattan and do not consider them from NYC.

I'm not a lawyer.. but I'm sure someone on here is..

After you've been informed you are no longer welcome on Disney property - again - EVER... I believe that if you were found to be on their property at some point in the future, that would open you up to charges for trespassing.

Certainly they would have a hard time booking rooms in those names, etc.

Again - I'm not a lawyer... and I don't play one in any form of media.

Was this the Monaco family? :rotfl: j/k

I am glad they got kicked out. I hope they are black-listed and can never return to WDW again.

Way to go New Yorkers. Sheesh. :sad2:

Shame on the folks that did this. But this in no way is a reflection on where they are from. We know not all NYers are like that. All of my customers are in NY (and Jersey) and they are very respectable people.

No, it was the kids from "Growing up Gotti." :rotfl:

Hey........We long Islanders are not spitters we are lovers. Don't bunch us all together with those losers. Lol

Se, these things can happen anywhere, not just Universal. ;)

  Also here defending Long Island ( Nassau !;) ) and I have to say, I know it's all good natured humor, but I have a friend visiting the World next week and I feel for her, everytime a CM asks "where ya from?":scared: Hopefully it will blow over before I go in Nov.:flower3:

That name dipietro sounded familiar, I remember a few years back a Fairfield University football player was shot and killed in brooklyn and a girl with that same last name who attended fairfield university was in his company that night and brought him to the party where he was last seen alive. If you google dipietro fairfield university you can read more about the circumstances surrounding the case and her involvement. I wonder if they are related????

I wonder whether the families of these unruly little ankle-biters will be up in arms about their precious little snookems getting tased while on vacation.

And once again the local media reveals their Anti-Disney bias. You gotta love the headline here: "Police: 'Spitting' Teen Shocked With Taser At Disney". The headline alone certainly makes it sound like the teen was tasered for spitting. She was not. A more accurate headline would have read "Teen Shocked With Taser After Assaulting an Officer at Disney."

Still, you can bet that a lot of tourists who only see the headline on the papers in the hotel gift shop are going to walk around thinking "They tasered a kid for spitting? That's outrageous!"

but how do they enforce this?? don't get me wrong these kids deserves to be in alot of trouble, but I'm afraid that something that disney just can't enforce:(

Well, it's certainly possible that they could go to a ticket seller and buy new tickets, then reenter the park. However, if they ever show up on property again, and we find them (if a CM sees them and recognizes them, for example), they'll be detained and their identity verified. If it's them, then they'll be arrested and charged with criminal trespassing.

I see that it was during Extra Magic Hours, too. If they were resort guests, and they were banned, then security went to their room, packed up all their stuff, and dumped it on the side of the road at the edge of the property. Being banned means they don't get to come back onsite for any reason -- including to pick up their belongings.

I'd love to be a fly on that wall when the girl grows up and gets married and has to explain to her kids and husband why they can't go to Disney.

Does a ban extend nation wide, world wide, or just to WDW? Hopefully, it would extend world wide.

AFAIK, it's a worldwide ban. I actually know someone who's been banned from property. I've personally told her that if she ever shows up I'll call security myself.

Without knowing the circumstances, I'd have to agree with an earlier poster. That type wears their bannination like a badge of honor.

Update: I found the MySpace pages of the two "adults". It's interesting that they're boyfriend and girlfriend (apparently she just had his baby). Plenty of photos of him (and the baby) on her page. The only photo he has on his page is of his car (and girls in bikinis). Classy.

I still wish I knew what the motivation for all this was. Did they look at each other and say "Hey, Lets spit on people and curse them out. Sounds like fun, huh"??? Did someone look at them wrong and they started in taking it out on everybody? I just wonder how it all started. :confused3 :sad2:
