I received a DVC booklet from disney and was looking at the point charts. I have two questions for any one that can help. One is weekly points for 6 or 7 nights? And at the bottom of the booklet it says in small writing that the vacation points chart is good through 12-31-06. Does this mean the needed points can change. I was told by the disney people that once you bought the points never changes but why put this at the bottom if this is true. Oh yea one other questions someone tole me for example if you get a 3 bedroom villa at say SSR that you pay 25/ extra person staying cna someone explain.

Thanks for help again almost ready to pull the trigger.

A week is seven nights in a row.
The overall points for the year remain the same, but values on specific dates can change (holidays . . .) . Anytime they raise a date, they need to lower another date.
I don't know about the Grand Villa - it does sleep up to 12 people (and is awesome)!

The point charts do change yearly to accomadate the change in holidays. For example, Easter week changes pretty much every year. That is a busy 2 weeks for Disney. The point chart change to follow the Easter break.

The total amount of points for the year at each resort do not change, but the individual weeks can change. If DVC adds to the point total of a particular week, that have to take away from another week.

What they told you is correct about the points.

I do not belieze you pay extra per person. When you reserve a villa unit, it sleeps 12. You do not pay extra. If you were renting at the unit then probably.
