Points transfer question

Hi,
I have a points transfer question, hope this is the right place to ask. I transferred points to another member (Oct 2005 points). I have now booked a vac for Oct 2006, using most of my 2006 points. I would like to add an other nite but I am 2 points shy. Is it possible to have points transferred to me now into my 2006 account? I realize you can only transfer one way each year, but these points would be going into 2006. Also, if I could get the transfer and decide not to add the extra nite, could all the points be borrowed and used this summer? Thanks in advance, I know this is a little confusing!

You'll probably need to get the definitive answer directly from MS. Normally transfers are allowed in only one direction per Use Year. Since you have already transferred out in this current Use Year, they may not allow you transfer in until after October 1. It's certainly worth a try to see if it would be allowed though since you are wanting points transferred into a different UY.

If they will allow the transfer, you would likely be able to borrow points for a trip in the current Use Year.

Please report back what MS will allow!

I'll give MS a call and post what I find out. I didn't know if anyone else had run into this.
