Points transfer: Do you think anyone would bother?

I am in need of 8 points in order to change my ressie from a 1 bdrm to a 2 bdrm so that we can take my mom along with us. I really want to do this because the last time she was at WDW was in 1979. She did go to DL with DD and I in 2003, other than that she only goes on camping trips. Her DH thinks that vacation mean hooking up the 5th wheel and driving for hours only to park it and sit in it for days on end. Yes that could be nice occasionally but they never actually do much more than that and I really want to take her. So anyway I posted on the rent/trade board about needing a transfer but since it is only 8 points do you think anyone would actually bother looking at that board if they only have a few points that are not going to get used? I'm sure there are dozens of members out there that have a few points that go unused but it doesn't seem like they look to get rid of them.

I think there is a possibility. I know that next year I may have 2 points left over at AKV that I don't want to bank. In that case, I would be happy to GIVE them to someone who needs them. I know my friend has had an instance where she lost 9 points once because they couldn't be banked.

A reminder, it is fine to ask a question about the Rent/Trade board here, but the thread can not be used to actually list dates, reservations wanted, points wanted, use years, etc. if that occurs, we'll need to delete the thread. Basically anything that could be interpreted as an offer to rent or transfer must be on the Rent/Trade board.

I think there is a possibility someone may have 8 points or so they are unable to use, and they would be willing to transfer. Another option would be to pay cash for one night, and upgrade the rest of the reservation to a 2 bedroom.
