We bought VB earlier this month. We were able to buy for use year starting back to Sept 2001. Then Disney bought back those points from us to put towards down payment. So we will not have any points until Sept 2002. My question is if we want to go to OKW in Oct 2002 do we have to wait until Sept to make ressies -- which I'm guessing might be difficult -- or is there another way to do it. Our deed will be recorded the first of March. Thanks for the info.

You can make them right now! -- you don't even need to wait until the deed is recorded.

As long as those points will be available to use at the time of your trip, the standard 11/7 window applies. You should be able to book OKW at 7 months out from the day you will be LEAVING the resort. And if you want to go BEFORE Sept 2002, you can borrow points from that use year and go NOW!!!
