Points increase at Home Resorts

I am fairly certain that when we purchased our points at SSR in 2005, we were told that the points at DVC Home Resorts would never increase but they could move dates around to put them in higher/lower point ranges.

Can someone tell me if I dreamed this (or was lied to)??

I really haven't paid attention until this year. When I compare 2009 points against 2010 points most are higher for Sun-Thurs, but a little lower for Sat, Sun. But even the entire week points are higher.

Point can be reallocated, as long as the total points needed to reserve the entire resort over the course of a year does not change.

There is a maximum possible reallocation listed in the POS for each resort, where all days of the week are the same, and there are no booking seasons.
