For stays 12/1/14 and after only.
Hi. I have rented through Disboards for years and have numerous references.
I have 358 VGC points available: These rent for $14 each.
108 Dec. 2014 UY
250 Dec. 2015 UY
VGC reservations generally must be made well over 7 months out, as it is a popular, small resort.
Also 300 SSR points only for stays 12/1/14 or after. These rent for $12 each.
Renting points is much cheaper than paying cash. Let's say you want a week in mid-Dec. at VGC.
A regular room at Grand Californian, smaller and inferior to a DVC unit, would cost $581 per night including tax for (as an example) Dec. 11-18, 2014. Here is the price, as of 5/14/14, from disneyland.com:
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel® & Spa
Arriving on 12/11/2014 for 7 nights; 2 Adults
Room Type:Standard View Room
Package: None
Tickets:None
View/Edit Details
7 Night Room Total* (USD):
$3,477.00
Tax (USD):
$591.09
Grand Total** (USD):
$4,068.09
Renting makes it much less expensive.:
DVC Per Day Point Costs
Villas at the Grand Californian Hotel
Studio (Sleeps up to 4)
Day # Date Point Cost
1 Thu, December 11, 2014 20
2 Fri, December 12, 2014 24
3 Sat, December 13, 2014 24
4 Sun, December 14, 2014 20
5 Mon, December 15, 2014 20
6 Tue, December 16, 2014 20
7 Wed, December 17, 2014 20
Total: 148
At $14 a point, this would total $2072, almost 50% less.
Please send a PM with your email address, to facilitate discussion.
I cannot transfer these points, sorry.
Please note: the points are first-come, first-served. Unless I make an explicit statement that I am holding them for you, just because I have made a quote does not guarantee I will still have them when you get back to me.
If you have questions, it might be best to talk on the phone. PM me your number. Thanks.
