FYI - I came across upon Points.com today, as I was trying to figure out what to do with unused American Airline FF miles. Points.com is an exchange program for your points from FF miles and other programs to things like gift certicates. I was able to open an account and convert those miles into a $75 super certificate. I hope to cash those in for RFC gcs for our trip in Dec.
If you have any mileage sitting around in accounts for airlines you don't expect to be flying again, you might want to check this out. I know Alaska and America West were a couple of other partners as far as airlines go.
It's free to use the service once and after that it is $5.95 per exchange or $19.95 for a year membership for unlimited exchanges.
Has anyone used this successfully before?
