Ok.... so this is kind of funny. As a lot of you know, last year I bought a Pentax K100D at the recommendation of some from here and I LOVE IT!!!!!
However, ever since then, I guess I give off the impression to my family members that I'm knowledgeable about photography and I haven't corrected them yet.
I can't give away ALL my little secrets, (like the fact that I know nothing; I just come here first!!) So here's a question that was posted to me by my DSIL: She is looking for a new camera in the not-so-distant future and I was wanting to see what everyone here thought or recommended. The BIGGEST thing is that she wants a quick reaction speed, meaning when they press the button they don't want it to take 3 seconds and have lost the shot by then. But the rest are: quick reaction speed, fairly decent shutter speed for action shots, good zoom, and no accessories. As soon as she said no accessories, I knew she wasn't really looking for a DSLR. (Not to mention my DB would throw it against the wall rather than take the patience to really learn and appreciate it.) So what does everyone here recommend?
