Pofq/por??

I had read a while ago (at least 6 months or more) that there were plans to re-do the rooms at POFQ or POR and theme them to the Haunted Mansion and Princesses. I remember seeing pictures of the designs (artist's renderings). Does anyone know if this has been greenlighted or axed? I'd love a HM themed room.

POFQ is getting rooms changed currently however not to these special themes. This makes me wonder if it was only rumor.

However at DLR they are making special suits in the disneyland hotel.

This makes me wonder if WDW will get in on the act.

Oh, bummer. Are there any renderings of what the new rooms will look like at POFQ?

Drawings of the concepts exist but I don't know where now. Maybe in the thread PP linked, but that's a lot of pictures to look through.

Also regarding the pirate suite. It's very strange. The DLH has three towers that are called, Magic, Dream, Wonder. They will be changing them to Adventure, Fantasy and some other land I don't recall. But the Pirate, Princess and Big Thunder suite don't all seem to belong in just one of those towers. They are remodeling the whole hotel and only one tower is done, presumably all these suites are in the finished tower.

Also someone got a nightly rate quote, it was north of $2,500.

I think down the road...after the animation suites ubertheming is done...they will move ahead with retheming by and large to specific themes/ categories.

the caribbean rooms have been very popular by their standards...so we're likely to see more.

but they are building a specific location now that can handle any theme they want seemlessly...i imagine lots of concepts/ ideas will be incorporated there.
