We are going in August and currently haveCSRbooked. We debated for a long time about which moderate to choose.I heave heard CSR is a beautiful resort and good things about it. I do not like the idea of the Pepper Market though. We have only stayed at ALL STAR SPORTS before and very much enjoyed just filling up our mugs and heading out to the bus stop. From what I understand we cannot do this at CSR ?? Would we have to have someone else fill up our mugs and be seated? Sorry if I am totally off but I am confused.
Also is the Food Court at POFQ this or like the All Stars ?? We liked the FC setup at the All Stars!!!

Thanks so much !!!

Hi Mandy-

Don't worry about the Pepper Market. You don't have to have someone else fill you r drinks for you... they do this as a service when you are seated in the restaurant (it's actually a very nice bonus). However, when you are just running in and out or when you want a drink faster then they can bring it, help yourself! You'll love CSR... it's a fantastic resort!

Coronado is indeed a nice resort. At the Pepper Market you can have unlimited refills plus as much food as you want. The system is a little different. When you get food they stamp a ticket and you give that ticket to the cashier in order to pay. The food at the Pepper Market was very good, but quite a bit more expensive than other food courts.

I have not been to CBR. I can say that the food courts at POR and POFQ are more like the All Stars. Thus, if you like the All Star set up, you will like the POR and POFQ set up.

My family hated the CSR food court because of the set up. We were used to the others-All Stars, CB,etc. The food court was also quite a walk from our room- not as convenient as the All Stars. I didnt even think to buy a mug because it would have been too hard to refill.

First of all, mugs can also be filled at the Siestas by the pool. No need to walk to the main building for a refill.

Secondly, the Pepper Market is called a food court but only for the lack of a better term. The Pepper Market is not an ordinary food court. You get a ticket upon entering as the hostess brings you to your seat. They give you enough tickets for everyone in your party. A server will come over and introduce him/herself and take your drink orders and/or bring condiments and refills as needed. That's the extent of their service. Yes, you pay 10% for that. Then you get up and browse the food areas. You can get a salad to a full steak dinner. Mexican, chinese and Italian too. If you want just a baked potato from one station or fries from another, just ask. Do not be afraid to mix and match if that's what you want. And yes, you can get plain pasta for your kids if that's what they like too. My nephew had it everyday during our stay in May. Some CM's may have difficulty speaking clear English, but that adds to the theme of the resort.

Enjoy!
